Quadruple Berry Chia Jam

Chia seeds are an up and coming seed of this wonderful earth packed with nutrients. In just one serving you are taking on excellent sources of omega 3 fatty acids, fibre, iron, calcium and antioxidants. All so vital in maintaining a healthy balanced life. So don’t just make the jam – eat the whole damn jar too!

Chia Seed JamChia Jam

1/2 cup of blackberries, blueberries, strawberries, raspberries

1/4 cup of water

1/3 cup of honey (less or more based on preference)

1/2 cup of chia seeds

Mix berries and water in a saucepan on the stove over medium heat, as the berries start to heat, mash with a fork. Once you have your desired texture, add the honey to your taste preference. Continue on the heat until a simmer begins. Take off heat, and fold in chia seeds. Let cool before jarring.
